rough sapphire-photo grabbedWe went to ruby and sapphire mining last 2 days ago somewhere in Franklin, North Carolina. It was our first time and it was fun, tiring, and one of our family unforgettable escapades. Mining for rubies, sapphires and other stones was not that easy at all, because we have to dig our own dirt, haul and clean it good and hope for some sparkling precious stones. I was lucky to found almost 13 carats sapphire stone perfect for cutting.
I and Joe are now planning to go gem mining once again but to a different mining place because the last place admission fee was too high. We’ve found a mining place already, which is closer to mom and dad place and a lot cheaper. Wish us luck!!! Oh…I will take some photos of my uncut sapphire stones soon to show-off, so you all have an idea what it look like.

I bought a small box of ripe mangoes yesterday and I made some mango shake and ice candy from it awhile ago. It’s not like our carabao mangoes but the taste is not that far either. The kids enjoyed some slices during their lunch even asked for more. Zack is the mango boy who can eat mango anytime it’s available. I bough kilos and kilos of ripe mangoes while where in the Philippines because he like the sweet taste of it.
Oh! We had our fondue party last night and it turns our okay. We’ve burned the cheese and ruined the taste. The chocolate fondue was so creamy and rich that I stopped dipping after 3 slices of fruits. Anyway, I have now some idea what cheese and chocolate to get and how much to make. Definitely, we will have another fondue party soon.

We have now keeping a baby finch bird that we’ve found wondering around in the yard this morning. We’ve decided to keep it until its ready to fly because I’m scared the neighbor’s cat will eat it. I asked my boys to look for worms but unfortunately they can’t find anything. I fed the bird with water awhile ago and I’m going to try some rice a bit later. Dylan is scaring the bird and Ruff was barking everything it tweets. My goodness, I just wish it will not die and will learn to fly high soon or else it’s going to get in trouble.
I went out awhile ago and looked around the trees but cannot find any bird nest or a mommy bird tweeting around. Oh well, I will take some photos to show it next time.

I am now watching TV patrol news and more bad news of course! More dead bodies found in that sunken MV Princess of the Stars. Let’s say a prayer for the victim guys and lend a hand or in cash as possible. It’s very sad and disturbing watching the news but I can’t stand not to watch it. I have been following about what storm frank left for days now. I talked to parents last night and told me some about it. I was glad that their okay and Cagayan De Oro City was not hit. The last time they got hit was awful because my mother was sent to the hospital for worrying too much. The flood went in to our old shack and leaves a nasty and stinky mud. Anyway, enough for that bad news and let’s pray for all the victims.

I bought some groceries not long time ago but when I checked the fridge and pantry it’s all empty. My goodness, having boys around are tougher than I thought. Joe was telling me that they will eat more and more that they can empty the fridge in a flash “hahaha”. Funny but I am still wishing to have a little girl which impossible because of my medical problems. Oh well, only God knows what will happen next and what’s good for me. Anyway, I better get busy and browse some of the

I finally talked to my sister yesterday and I was glad their doing well. I need to call Philippines today and see how‘s my parents doing. I got my second set of fondue and were all ready for the late birthday party of Zack. I still need to pick some birthday present for Zack and maybe pick that
baby bedding for baby shower of my friend. So much to do on the weekend but I am hoping for a nice weather though to enjoy my shopping. I will take some photo to share soon.

At least I’m heading the right path. Marriage life is tough with kids but I am embracing it with open arms. We have up and down days but everything I manageable. Financially were not too stable but we manage most of the time. We work harder and happy to attain most of our goals. Life in the United States is tougher that I thought but a lot way better compare to life back home. If we could work and leave in the Philippines, life would be easier and happier with relatives and friends around. Anyway, I will not make this post longer because can hear one of the boys are crying now.

Waking up late in the morning is always giving me nothing but big fat zero. Oh well, what you expect if I go to bed very late at night. Joe just woke me up not long time ago because my other fondue set came in. I can’t wait to for our fondue party next week. I decided to stay in the house and forget going to Florida and North Carolina. Hopefully Joe will take some break soon and maybe we can visit Mom and Dad then. I need to see the ocean, touch the sand and water this year as a promised .My in-laws empty rest house is less than 5 hrs drive and always open for us. We might hop in the car one day and drive straight to the place. Anyway, I better check that rice cooking on the stove.

I have a big file of photos to resize, upload, print and save to disks. I have been fooling around lately and totally disregard my photography tutorials online. I have things to do and photos to take but unfortunately my amore` is not back yet. I have no idea why I feel like this sometimes, maybe because of boredom and stress. We have financial problems lately and were trying to do something about it, plus the heat is unbearable that you can never enjoy any activities outdoor besides swimming.
The photo above was taken during Dylan 4th birthday and I can’t believe that his going to be 5 this year and soon start Pre-K. His growing up so fast, naughtier but still sweet though. He was whining awhile ago because Zack was bothering him in his nap. My Zack can be very stubborn sometimes and can drive you nuts too. My boys…I love them both more than anything else in this life.

Hey guys, what’s up? I was watching TV patrol awhile go and the usual more bad news. Sometimes, I don’t watch morning news anymore because it’s too depressing and it’s healthier without knowing it “bohoho”. I’m back watching to my Korean drama and 4 more episodes then it’s over. I can’t wait to watch another story later.
The weather is a bit cooler today and we have good breeze. Coming from the east. Joe is still busting his butt at work and I hope he will finish his days soon. I would love to go somewhere or go shopping or whatever just to be out in this place. I sound so desperate “hahaah”. Oh well, I better get back to work now.

I received one of my fondue sets the other day and I can’t wait for the other one to come soon. I am planning for a cheese and chocolate fondue party for Zack second birthday celebration next week when his daddy take some days off. I am still planning whether to celebrate it in Florida or North Carolina. My in-laws are missing the boys bad and we need to take them to see them. My adrenaline is running out so fast and I am feeling weak and bored most of the time. I’m getting old and I should take good care of myself better to be able to take good care of my family. I’ve been down lately that sometimes I don’t feel like doing anything but watch television or movies. I rather sleep or lay in bed whole day than doing anything productive.
I should start taking multi-vitamins once again and exercise more often. I have no idea where all my energy went and why I can’t keep up with all my duties. Joe was been working straight and his also burn out. We definitely need some breaks somewhere quite, cooler and comfortable.

My goodness! I’m stuck with my tele-drama that I forgot all my tasks “nyahahha”. I am hooked to Asian dramas (Korean and Japanese are great). I never watch any Filipino drama yet but soon I find one then maybe. Anyway, I’m supposed to take the kids swimming but the kiddie pool needs to be clean and treated bad.
Zack was very happy to get all his belated birthday cards from his sisters because of his birthday dollars “hahahha”…I think, granny and poppa bough him another stock once again. Oh well, I better get back to work and hopefully will not fall asleep again.

Hey guys! Good morning, what’s up? I feel a lot better now and my blogging mood is coming back once again. The weather in Georgia was okay for the past two days because of rain. I still don’t like to go outdoor though because the pollen counts still bad and my allergy is acting up again. Not much this morning, just watching tele-series and trying to catch some moolah while the busy are busy playing and watching cartoons. Besides having weight gain problems, I am also dealing with acne right now. It’s not new to me because it happens every time when I am a lot of stress. My forehead is covered with ugly acne and it’s driving me nuts. I need to look for the
best acne treatment soon and take care of this face problem. I tried to use Joe acne medicine but it did not work as what it said. Oh well, I better do something before this acne will get worse.

Joe is now looking for motorcycle to use for work. His so sick and tired of driving the SUV back and fort to work who need to be fill at least $70 for gas a week. We went driving around last 2 weeks ago looking for
used Harleys hoping to find one that is not too expensive. I am tired driving around with Joe and I hope to find a good and adorable used motorcycle very soon. A friend has one for sale and was going to check it this weekend. Wish us luck with this one guys.

Any plans on Father’s Day? I don’t have any yet because Joe is working straight. Anyway, I am so speechless and nothing to share much, I am trying to make a post for “you know” the reasons. You can find the bigger version of the sardinas photo in my photograph blog. Anyway, I have a can of stinky sardines the other day and it was delicious. I put a pinch of salt and drops of datu puti vinegar. My goodness, I made the whole house stunk and made Joe face pangit “hahahhaha”. Oh well, sardinas or we call it “tinapa” is always my favorite because it’s cheap and we often eat it when there’s nothing else available beside the target “salt”. I guess, if you grew in a pretty well-off family then you will not understand. But hey! My Chinese millionaire friend can eat it in a flash.

The sky is so blue and Mr. Sunshine is now setting proudly. I just hope it will not get too hot after 12PM because I am planning to weed my garden. The kids woke me up early and asking for candies “I was mad because it’s too early for sweets…so I thrown it out”. I am not in the perfect mood for the last couple of days now “blame it to the hormones”. I am bored, broke and not much work to do. I have a tattoo in my hand…hiding somewhere in between my fingers. I’ve been thinking about getting a bigger one but I cannot find the tattoo that I will cherish for the rest of my life. And the pain!!! I am not sure, if I can handle the pain anymore. I’m a chicken and a big scary cat that will probably scream and cry while having the tattoo. Joe is still wishing to have one and I think his going to have an abstract design. Oh well, I better think twice or many times before doing it “so walang regrets”.

Ruffy’s smile!!! My dog loves his picture taken. He can give you the best pose often as long your holding some cookie “hahahha”. I have to bribe him most of the time and he will obey like a child. We all love Ruff, his like our third child. He was mad at me this afternoon because his wanting to jump in the pool too. I cut his hair 2 weeks ago and now it looks it need to be cut again. He needs his hair clip often during the hot season because it’s so thick and long. I had troubles cutting his hair the last time because I’ve waited for too long and it got so long and tangled. Anyway, his now asleep and probably dreaming because his kicking and making noises.

Hey guys, what’s up? Not much here…just chilling out and watching movies. I went swimming with the kids this afternoon and we had so much fun. The dog wanted to jump in the pool too. It’s been so hot for days now and it’s getting worse everyday. It’s not yet officially summer but it feels like it already. I have so many errands to do tomorrow and hopefully will finish it all. I have kids book to returns too and more baking lessons to attain. Oh well, no time to fool around this week. I need to work more and earn extra for grocery next.

The weather down south is now getting hotter and hotter and were all praying for some rain. Everything is now so dry that we have to water all the flowers. The boys are enjoying their pool and now I’m wishing that we have the bigger one where I can get in with them. Not much around here, I’m stuck in the house all the time and too lazy to go out. It’s too hot, flat broke and tired to tag two wild boys “hahahahah”. Joe is back to work and probably working everyday this month. We need some extra moolah for bills and Zack birthday party. Oh well, better get back to work now.

My gardenias are now blooming so heavily and it smells so good when you’re out in the porch. The flower reminds me of the summers while attending the Flore de Mayo at the Fatima church in my Barangay. Our teacher required us to bring flowers every afternoon for offering and because I can’t find any at home. Me and some friends decided to steal some gardenia flowers of this big house nearby. I don’t have any idea how many times we got caught and chased by owner with a broom!!! I thought, it was silly, crazy and funny. Anyway, it was one experience that I will never regret nor forgets.
