I saw the video about Madonna Rep‘s Photo Rumble “the material girl” on ENews now and I was speechless when I saw what she looks like bare. My goodness! She’s getting skinnier and skinnier and scary too. I like Madonna a lot but it scares me how she looks like now. Her heavily muscled arms are not attractive at all. She needs not to go out in the house without putting any make-up and hopefully she will take care of her health. I still like her and enjoy her music but I prefer the healthy Madonna . Scary looking isn’t it?

Passport




I was checking some old photos of the kids and found this puppy photo of Ruffus, he was still very skinny and cute and I can‘t stop laughing about it. I‘ve shown it to the boys and they were amazed how much Ruffy grown up for a year. I need to take him to the groomer this weekend because his yearly vet check-up is coming very soon too. I have so much errands to do and we still needs to go to the courthouse for Joe‘s passport renewal. Were planning to visit the Philippines next year and he needed to renew his passport. I better take care of this passport thing first and worry the rest later. Anyway, I better get busy now and take care of this kids and laundry. See yah.

Dunkin' Donuts

I was reading the news this morning and was very happy to read about Dunkin' Donut’s new healthier food additional to the menu. The new menu will be release in the stores on August 6, 2008. We consumer can now enjoy two new flatbread sandwiches made with egg whites. We have turkey sausage and vegetable to choose from and both sandwiches will be less than 300 calories with only 9 grams of fat or less.


I love to eat at the place and it’s nice to hear such news. If you’re watching your weight and still love to eat out and indulge food, then we can now enjoy food with no guilt attach. Yummy! I should try that their turkey sausage one day.

Chicken Noodle Soup

Every time I feel down, I feel like eating soup. I could use a bowl of warm chicken noodle soup right now. The food reminds me when I was young with no worries to think off and so innocent about what’s going on around me. Chicken noodle soup for me is very satisfying and it helps me forget bad things temporarily. I should make some soup later today. I have some left over chicken breast in the fridge, green leafy vegetables and pancit noodle special in the pantry. The kids would love it and I hope my Joe too. I better thaw that chicken now and finish this post. See you later guys.

Prom Dresses

I was packing some of my old stuffs and found my old photos during high school and college days. I‘ve changed a lot and gained a bit of weights. I was start laughing when I saw my junior prom night photos. I cannot believe the dress and shoe I wore that time. The style was so outdated and I look hilarious with my make-up.


I was invited once when I was in college and it was the best prom that I’ve even been too, all because everything was perfect and I loved the prom dress and shoe that I had and of course my taste in fashion have changed already. I always like to dress up , no wonder most of my friends, cousins and nieces still ask my advice when it comes to what to wear on a party.

Guitar

I can be a guitarist but it’s too late for me. I’ve tried to learn how to play a guitar back in college but I was to dumb to learn everything. I can probably play a song but you’re not going to like it for sure, so I will not dear then. I wish my kids will have some interest on learning to play any instrument. Joe never learns to play one and so do I…so we hope our kids will be into it someday. God Help


Life is tough sometimes and bad things can come in time less expected. I feel down, worried and no idea what to do but as long my family is intact then probably things will be okay and maybe for the better. I cannot tell you my problems right now because it still very fresh and it hurts very bad. I hope God will lend his hand and will listen to my prayers once again. I hope He will never get tired of me asking so many things. I have to think positive and hope for the best. Have mercy Lord…don’t let bad things happen to my family.

Vacuum Cleaner

I was very happy to finally found the perfect vacuum that sucks really hard. It can suck everything that will leave your carpet clean and smooth. It’s bag less and the price was alright, not too expensive and not cheap either. I love the apple green color and it work like magic. I hope it will stay for a long time because this is the second vacuum I bought this year. The first one got broke after 4 months of using and the service area is too far too drive and the vacuum is too heavy to ship. Oh well! I told Joe, to toss it in the trash and get rid of it.

Massage Therapy Schools

I talked to some of my friends last weekend and we’re all thinking on going back to school this year. We are all tired of labor work and we thought getting a good skill would help us work in the area that we love most. I love to be in the medical field and I am thinking on getting a nursing degree. I know, it’s going to be tough but I need to do something with my life.


One of my friends is now in cosmetology school and she is enjoying the course. My other two friends are now looking for massage therapy schools and their both hoping to open their own massage therapy and spa someday. It feels great to be around with friends with good vision and still thinking for their future. So guys, if you’re a mother like us and would like to do something productive then why not go back to school and earn some skills or degree of your choice. Good luck to us!

Cheeseburger

We’ve just finished dinner and here we are having a family time watching werewolf movie. I hope the kids will not have nightmares after this. Were supposed to dine out but decided to take out instead, not much for dinner but it was satisfying. I like to eat cheeseburger once in a while but cannot live to eat in a row. The kids always enjoy the treats, especially with crispy fries and finish it with fruit slashes or sundae.


It was very hot today but we’ve managed to enjoy the outdoor. The kids played the sprinkler and I enjoyed taking photos of bugs and butterflies on the butterfly bush. Ruff was enjoying the peaches of the neighbor. He goes to their yard and picks peaches on the ground and brings it back in the house. He likes to eat peaches…he ate at least 3 peaches today. Anyway, I will see you all later guys.

Reading Comprehension

We are back to our reading comprehension session to sharpen the head of my little ones before the school starts. Dylan is now excited to start Pre-k and I hope he will find it fun and worth. I hope I will not have problems with him and he will learn his lessons well.


My Zack have just finished reading his first short story awhile ago and his reading great. We have one more story to read before bed. Reading is good and it helps kids learn and understand things easily. I used the internet to surfed things that they like to know and I shown them photos for better information. Zack is doing well and I hope his going to be okay in second grade. Wish him luck!

Flowers

I can’t resist on taking pictures of the flowers. All photos above were taken in Franklin, North Carolina at Mom’s garden. She fixed her yard very neat and pretty all the time. I feel like driving up to the mountain next weekend and go gem hunting, picnic and swimming. The boys would love a quick trip before the school start on August.


I have no idea when exactly the school will start but hopefully not on the first week of next month. Here in Georgia, the school year start very early and end very late. My goodness! I have to get up before 6 AM once again and get my kids ready for school to catch the school bus. Anyway, let’s go back to the flowers…I have no idea what’s name of the flowers (above and bottom) photos. Anyone?

Coffee



Good morning guys! I feel a lot better today and happy that no splitting headache this time of the day. My kiddos are still in bed snoring and snuggling in their comfy bed. I still went to bed very late last night and I’m kind a sleepy right now but thank to the coffee that is now keeping me wide awake. I have a couple of tasks to finish and I wish for more. I’ve missed a lot of days and my account is drying so fast “bohohoho”.


It’s tough to write a post this early, especially when you have nothing to say and your mind is almost empty. All I am thinking right now is my house chores and what to cook for dinner “ is that a wife mentality?”, Oh well, I better act busy now and go fighting.

Finally, I received a letter from Dylan Pre-K teacher and the school orientation is very soon. I am not very crazy about her teacher because it’s the same one whom Zack went. We always though that she never like Zack because she had so much comments. Oh well, will see if she ever change for the past 2 years. I hope she will be good to our Dylan and will not burst into anger with him too. Wish us luck!!!


I need to go school shopping soon and pick up everything that the boys needs. So much to do and I hope things will go in my way. I hate the big crowd but it’s nice to shop school things tax free “hehehe”. See yah

Philippines Monkey Eating Eagle

I was watching the TV patrol news on Sunday and heard about a new Philippines Eagle was released in Mount Kitanglad, Bukidnon , Philippines, was killed by villager and eaten. The Monkey Eating Eagle has a monitor (transmitter) attached on its leg. The people who was monitoring the Eagle was puzzled when they transmitter stopped in one place for a long time. And they’ve found out that the Eagle was killed and turns into a tinola (soup). The villager said that he was amazed to see such a huge bird and shot it down, cut the leg with the transmitter and buried it into the ground. He also, said that he have no idea that the bird was endangered and not supposed to be harm.


I am not very sure if his naïve, innocent or just simply playing dumb to get out in the law that he soon to be facing. This is a sad story indeed and I hope more and more people will be educated about it and the consequences if they ever broke such law.

Allergy

It’s like crap the last few days for me. My allergy and migraine was almost unbearable that I would rather hide somewhere dark and quite. Joe is working straight this month and I have no other choice but to suck it up and watch the kids by myself while feeling crap! I was glad that my boys are good and the one taking care of mommy. I hate being sick when there’s so much things to do around the house and online. Anyway, I don’t have much to share today but will definitely think something interesting to share on my next post.

It‘s pretty silly for not taking a lot of photos during Zack 7th Birthday , we had fun on his little party and he got what his wishing for. I still need to get his last present one of this days when I have the budget. I have so much errands and things to do before the school start next month. I need to look for a new vacuum cleaner, buy all the kids school stuffs, attend the school orientation, send my Balikbayan box, send Joe‘s PC to the computer shop, buy extra memory for my laptop, look for egg incubator, save enough money for veterinarian visit and medicine, and etc., So many things to do and I hope I will manage it all. I will do blog hopping and dropping later tonight guys.

Johnston and Murphy

We’ve adopted a pet goat for day 5 days ago. A lost goat dropped and was persistent to get in the house. We have no idea who owned the goat, so we’ve decided to keep it for awhile. It was the sweetest goat and he follows the kids around the yard. I was worried though, because he never eats anything and I had no idea what to do.


I was glad that the owner happened to walk in the woods, passed our backyard and heard the goat whining. It was a relief because we were able to pack our stuffs and went straight to Florida that night. I thought most of my problems are gone but when I started packing, one of my big luggage’s handle got broke. Oh well, it’s time to check that Johnston and Murphy luggage’s online that a friend recommended. I am planning to fly to Canada this year and I need a tough quality luggage that I can drag anywhere. I better check the site now and tell you more about it later. See you.

Diet Pills


I baked some sweet dinner rolls not long time ago and the kids love it. They calls it sweet soft-bread because it‘s soft and yummy. I have been baking different kind of breads lately and my kids are my tester and they can tell you no lies. Joe has been telling me to get a bread machine but I prefer to do my bread manually. It’s tough job but fun! I know it’s not good to eat white bread all the time and I noticed that I am gaining some extra pounds now. I better check some of those diet pills online and get one soon. Summer is not over yet and I still want to fit in that two piece suit for our next beach escapade . Wish me luck.

Digital Frame

It‘s nice to be back home. I miss sleeping on my bed and snuggling with my pillows. We had a great time in Florida with Mom and Dad. The kids love the ocean very much. We went to Cape San Blas because it’s the only place we knew that is perfect. I took a lot of photos and I am now thinking on getting a digital frame soon. I bought one last year but I sent it to my mother as a birthday present. She told me, that the digital frame was a hit and most of her friends wanted to have one too. I can’t wait to own one very soon and place it on my mantle. I will post some photos here too.

My grandmother‘s birthday is coming on September and all my relatives are planning a big party. Each family is assigned what to prepare and luckily me, I was assigned to get her birthday cake. I would love to get her the biggest birthday cake at my favorite bakeshop. In fact, I asked a closed friend already and everything is ready to go on that coming day.

I am now browsing for a jewelry online and hoping to find one soon for her. She’s still like to receive cute, fancy and cool gifts , so I am thinking on getting a bracelet or some cute earrings too. I am now hoping it will make it before her big day. I asked my parents to bring it to her and their all excited for that moment to come soon. I wish her good health, long life and happiness always.

Bus For Sale

I am back watching Korean dramas online again and I am now watching “Hello God”, its pretty interesting story and I’m at the 7th episode. I am far from over and the story is progressing very slowly but it's worth waiting and watching though.

Oh! Mom and Dad dropped by this afternoon and finally brought the rooster that I've been waiting for . I cooked Filipino lunch for them and I was glad they like it. I burned my pork barbeque though but it was still edible and the kids didn’t care at all.

I still have so many chores to do online but I’m trying to do things one at a time before I mess things up once again. I better check about that bus for sale right now and start uploading my photos after. Hopefully, I will finish uploading and resizing all my photos tonight, will just wait and see. See you all.

Ice cream cones


I have buckets of ice cream in the fridge and yummy cones here. Anyone want some? We had chocolate and vanilla ice cream awhile ago after dinner. The kids love ice cream but it seems they loved the ice cream cone most. I love sherbet better because it’s neither too sweet nor too creamy for my taste. Joe always bought me the strawberry and lime sherbet because it’s his favorites too. Anyway, not much to share right this moment but hopefully tomorrow I will have more interesting to write though. Happy 4th Of July

Before I rant, let me greet all American a Happy and safe 4th of July 2008.


I have a rough day and I feel like hiding in my dark closet right now. It’s been days since my last post here and still I have no well to go blogging in a serious mood. I feel lazy and all my energy was drained down to the sink after doing things that I’ve hates most.


I took a nap with the kids but spent laying down on the floor tossing and turning like a wiggly worm that its tail got cut off. I have so much thing in my mind lately that it’s making me crazy and end up being grouchy and hard headed. Oh! My vacuum was broken and the house is a mess like a giant nasty bubble gum stuck under your school table. Tomorrow is the big day and hopefully, no one in my family will act bad that can lead me to insanity. Bow!
