The weather is nice and I can't wait to go back out and jog. I have missed two days and I feel crappy already. I am now waiting for Joe to come home so I can start my workout. Dieting and exercise are not fun but if you want to live life happier and healthier then you have to endure the pain. Thank goodness! I have the well power and family who are always very supported of my weight goals. Good eating habit, daily exercise and the right weight loss pills are my bullets to success. It’s not going to be easy but if you set your mind and heart of what you desires then everything will come just the way you want it.

One Sad Dog
Ruff loves to play ball but it’s been days since the last time we’ve play pitch due to the nasty cold weather. I will ask hubby later today if he can take him to the park and play ball. His good dog but just like a little child always wanted attention and petting. All he wants is play, pet me, eat, pet me again and play ball. I don’t have any idea what will happen to me if his gone. His been in the family for almost two years now and his been a very good companion. His hair/fur is growing very long again and he could probably use another clip. I hope I have the budget for a new clipper soon. If anyone has an old, good condition animal clipper for sale, please let me know.

I talked to my mother the other night and we’ve talk about my father’s upcoming birthday. I was not able to send any gift last year for some reasons. Mag-Ingat Ka Sa Kulam
Have you seen the “Mag-ingat ka sa Kulam” movie? It’s a Philippines horror movie of Judy Ann Santos. It’s about a married woman who starts feeling odd after she recovers from a car accident. The film is pretty interesting and scares the heck of me. I am very picky when it comes to Filipino horror films but this movie is good. If you like to watch it then checks hyperfrenz today. The movie is almost over now but I’m not going to tell you more about it (I’m not a spoiler) hehehe. Anyway, you should check it out if you feel like scaring yourself ’wink’.

I was reading an article about cerebral palsy and found out that it is an umbrella term encompassing a group of non-progressive , non- contagious conditions that cause physical disability in human development ( according to wikipedia).
I really don’t have much knowledge about this medical problem but I have read once that any damaged to the developing brain, whether caused by genetic or developmental disorders, injury or disease, may produce cerebral palsy. Intel
I’ve watched the Philippines news this morning and was sad that Intel Company is closing its door to the Filipinos after 30 or more years in service. There will be thousands of people will be out of job once again. The economy worldwide is in bad shape and who knows when it’s going to get better.
We have a new president in the United States of America and I hope he can do something about the economy. I feel like it’s the end of the recession and the beginning of depression. I can be wrong but that’s what I am feeling right now. It’s been 4 months that hubby got laid off from his job and until now still jobless. It’s very depressing but we are hoping to find something better soon.

shipping boxes

We went with hubby to Alabama last week for some business and spent the weekend with my in-laws in Florida. The weather was fine but we decided not to take the boys to the beach. But we went boating in the lake and river though. It was fun and I wish we could stay longer and go for oyster picking with mom.
Anyway, we can’t stay longer because the kid’s needs to go back to school tomorrow and I need to continue packing the rest our stuffs too. I still needs get more shipping boxes this week and finish all the packing before the end of next month. I better get busy soon.

Long Trip

Driving five to six hours is more than enough for me. The boy’s were so tired from our trip that they went straight to bed for a nap. I am tempted to catch some sleep too but I have some tasks that will do tonight. The weather in Florida was great that we’ve spent most our time outdoors. The kid’s went boating and fishing yesterday and unfortunately did not catch any fish ‘wink’. I am very tired and I can’t wait to go to bed as soon my chores get done. I will see you all later guys. Christmas and New Year is over but I still have more shopping to do before my sister and nephew will come for a visit. I am thinking a jacquard snow beanie and a wool plaid newsboy cap for her and maybe a cute outfit and lego toy for him. I am pretty broke right now and it’s all I can afford and think as my very late Christmas presents. I never see my sister for almost eight years and her son and I can’t wait to see them very soon. Hopefully, they will get his tourist visa with no hassles and buy the tickets this month. We’re all very excited and cannot wait for the reunion.

Biko
I am dying to eat some of those biko malagkit. My sister gave me his biko recipe last month but I never had the chance to make it yet. I can’t find any glutinous sweet rice in the international market on my last visit or maybe I was not looking harder. I would love to have a sliced of biko and cassava cake right now with a hot cup of real cocoa ‘wishful thinking’.
I never cook or bake both biko and cassava cake before but I am willing to try it sometimes. The kid’s might like it ‘who knows’ . Anyway, I better get to my business right now and maybe will find some time to hop and drop.

We are putting the house for rent or for sale once again probably early next month after we fix everything around the house. We have so much fixing to do and I am not looking forward to it. Digital Camera
I got a new pink pocket digital camera on my birthday. It’s very cute but I found it hard to operate, funny but it’s true. I got used on using my obsolete 4mg powers hot canon and SLR camera. I was back to camera whoring again but too lazy to upload and re-size my images. I have couple of good shots and I can’t wait to post some here.
We are supposed to visit Callaway Garden last New Year but decided to stayed home and save the money instead. Oh well, life is tough and it’s getting tougher everyday. Springmaid Company down in my area is closing on February and another 350 people will be unemployed. Oh God!

small business franchise
I have been talking to my father since October and we’re seriously thinking about a small business franchise in Cagayan De Oro City. He went to a business seminar not long time ago and he believes that we are ready for it. We have a little bit of cash saved but it’s not enough to cover the cost yet. Hopefully, my sister will be able to raise the rest of the money before summer and we can open the small store then. It’s our very first family investment and I hope it will be a success. Wish us luck guys.

Pumpkin Pie

The holiday’s is over but here I am baking a pumpkin pie for the boys. Zack has been begging me to bake some more pumpkin pies for desserts. I made a batch of coconut macaroons the other night and their not too crazy about the textures and taste. I am on the diet and I can’t shove them all in my mouth so it went to Ruffy’s bowl.
Belated Happy New Year’s to all. I am so sorry for not posting any greetings lately. Life is keeping me very busy and I am spending more time with my kid’s, taking advantage of the school break. School will resume on Monday and they can’t wait to go back soon. A break for me too and more time for blogging and sleeping “hehehe”. See yah!
